Is the furniture delivered assembled?

Short answer, yes. Some of our pieces may require a small amount of assembly on site such as attaching legs to a desk, but this is done by our delivery team. You can specify exactly where you would like the furniture assembled.

Does Knotch have a showroom?

We do not currently have a showroom, but we do plan to open one in the near future. Sign up to our newsletter in the footer below so that you can be the first to know when we do.

What is your returns policy?

Made-to-measure furniture can be cancelled any time before dispatch (usually not sooner than 7 days from when the order has been placed), though we do charge a fee. We are unable to accept returns for made-to-measure furniture once dispatched unless the item is faulty or the wrong item. Off the shelf items are returnable up to 30 days from order at your expense. How quickly can we have our furniture?

Most made-to-measure furniture is dispatched within 3 weeks of the order. We will contact you shortly after you have placed your order to give you an estimated delivery date. Stocked items are usually dispatched within 3 days of the order being placed.

Where do you source wood from? What is your environmental policy?

We take protection of the environment, and virgin forest in particular, very seriously. For that reason we do not offer any tropical hardwood products such as Meranti, Iroko or Sapele as the true origin of these wood types is often hard to verify and is often not sustainably sourced. We source our wood from reputable wood merchants in the UK, and where possible buy Rainforest Alliance certified products. Some of our wood such as our oak is bought directly from source so that we can be absolutely sure of its origin. Read more about our sourcing and environmental policy.

Can you make a special design, just for me?

Yes - we love to do completely custom work! Please email or call us to discuss your project. We’ll give you a quote first. If you are happy with that then we’ll take a £100 deposit and turn your idea into a CAD drawing, and once you have signed off on that we’ll take full payment and start producing your order.
